Happy First Birthday Charlotte!

The Birthday girl in her adorable little attire!

I made these sweet little cupcakes for Charlotte's first birthday. Coconut cupcakes with coconut cream cheese frosting and chocolate with pink butter cream were the choices and I think they are perfect for a little girls special day! I love the colors pink and brown together and the little flowers are precious for a little princess!

Happy First Birthday, Charlotte!

Enjoy your sweet treat!

Let's Do Lunch!

Holland Junior Welfare League had their annual "Kids at Heart" Luncheon and I had the privilege of donating a gift certificate and vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for a lucky winner!

Thank you, HJWL, for all you do for the children in our community!

Check out the link below for information about this wonderful organization!

Holland Junior Welfare League (HJWL) began in 1932. From developing a cookbook in the 60's to establishing 'Kids on the Block' in the 80's, HJWL has gone through many changes throughout the decades. Despite the changes, our mission has been steadfast; helping improve the welfare of children.

We are a non-profit, charitable organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, by fostering the spirit of involvement in enriching the lives of the youth of our community. Our purpose is exclusively educational and philanthropic.

Bowling at Lakeview Lanes!

This weekend we celebrated two of my three Boys birthdays at Lakeview Lanes in Douglas, MI. I finally had a chance to make cupcakes for my own family, ans I stuck with the theme of the day, and made little fondant bowling balls to decorate the Red Velvet cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. They were amazing, and I had enough to share with the awesome staff at the Lanes!

Happy 5th Birthday, Henry & 8th Birthday, Willem!

I love you!

Miller Baby Shower

A few photos from a recent order I had for another Baby Shower! They picked some great flavors including chocolate cupcakes with chocolate butter cream and S'mores.

I also loved doing the green and yellow fondant flowers to match their theme!

Lock-Spoelhof Wedding

I recently had the honor of making the Cake Topper for my Sister's wedding. I was the Maid-of-Honor, so unfortunately, I had no time to make cupcakes for the Reception, but I did make the cake for the bride and groom to cut into.

I made the top look like the bouquets we Bridesmaids had and a simple vanilla Butter cream frosting with Strawberry filling was the flavor. It was fabulous!

The Day was perfect, the bride and groom were glowing, and I was privileged to be part of such an astounding day!

Congratulation's, Ryan and Rebekah!

Coconut Crazy!

Oh man, these are probably my personal favorite right now! Coconut cupcakes with Coconut cream cheese frosting.

I made these for a Wedding Shower where the future bride is a coconut connoisseur, of sorts. These are sure to meet her craving, I'm sure!

New Baby!

I just finished baking some sweet little cupcakes to welcome a new baby to our world. My client asked for baby blue fondant flowers in honor of the new little one, Bjorn Christian, plus some pink ones for his older sister. These were so fun to do for such a special occasion!

A Garden Tea Wedding Shower

I recently made cupcakes for a Wedding Shower that was a Backyard Garden Tea. It was a lovely setting for a shower!
I set up my cupcakes with a mini floral arrangement in a teapot to fit the theme. It was simply beautiful! Everyone loved them and especially the cute little fondant and royal icing flowers!

SummerTime!

Like many families, one of our favorite vacations in the Summer is camping at one of many beautiful State Parks in Michigan. My kids love the beach, riding bikes, making campfires, and especially, making S'Mores!

I have created a S'mores cupcake that tastes very similar to the sweet treat created over the open fire! This little morsel is very popular with kids and grown-ups alike!

Literary Life Bookstore

Author Paula Nangle visited Literary Life Bookstore in Grand Rapids last night & I provided the cupcakes for the event!

Many showed up to hear her talk about her book, The Leper Compound, while enjoying delicious treats!

Between my sold out cakes and many of her books purchased, the night as a whole was quite a success. Thanks, LitLife, for letting me be part of your night!

At the Romence Gardens "Garden Party 2008". The gardens' annual event. This years theme was Backyard Parties. A beautiful day for a great event! I had lots of delicious samples for the guests and they were gone in no time!

Can't wait to make cupcakes for all the Showers, Tea Parties and the like in your gorgeous backyards!
